Best for
Customers who've found fixed-voltage batteries inconsistent in the past, or who simply want more control over their output.
Why we chose it
Variable voltage addresses a complaint we hear often — fixed-output batteries that feel inconsistent from one session to the next. A single-button control keeps that adjustment simple and predictable, rather than buried in a menu. The pen-style format itself is a well-established design, not an unproven one, which matters to us when we're deciding what to put our name behind. We selected the Stylo because it gives customers real control without adding complexity — not because it was simply available to stock.
Our honest opinion
The single-button control is genuinely easy to get on with — there's no menu to learn, and adjusting output is quick. A pen-style form factor is also just comfortable to hold and carry, which sounds minor until you're using something daily. We're not going to claim specific build-quality or battery-life ratings here: we haven't confirmed capacity, output range or dimensions yet, and we'd rather say that plainly than round up. Once those are confirmed and we've had real customer feedback, we'll update this section rather than leave early impressions standing as if they were long-term findings.
Things to consider
- Single-button control means less granular adjustment than a dial or digital display — it's simple, not fine-tuned.
- Charging method isn't confirmed yet — worth checking with us first if that's a deciding factor for you.
- Battery capacity and run time aren't confirmed yet, so we can't yet say how it compares on longevity.
- As with any device, how the draw and output feel is a bit subjective and can vary between users.
